One of the final prospects left on the Badger board is Illinois Defensive Tackle Bruce Gaston. Gaston right now is IMO leaning towards one of three schools. Wisconsin, Michigan State, and Purdue however a new team has emerged as a possible destination and that is Penn State. Now do I think he ends up at PSU? No, but it is a very interesting as this was an very late offer for Joe Pa especially considering Gaston has had a top 8 for a good 4 months now.
Gaston's decision is supposed to come on Tuesday after he returns from his trip to Boston College. Right now to me it looks like he has MSU at the top, but I really wouldnt be surprised with either Purdue or Wisconsin. Purdue has been a constant in his recruitment, and he has always spoken highly of them. However I cant see him going to Purdue over offers from the likes of Wisconsin and Notre Dame. MSU is not a top-tier team in the conference, but they are a team who is making a giant splash in recruiting right now lead by a top recruiting class last year. The question about MSU is are they just going to fizzle out like the Minnesota and Illinois fad? Or are they going to become perennial contenders?
My Prediction-Wisconsin-No real reason just a feeling.
